About me

I’m a writer, editor and creative producer from the south coast of Wales. I’ve published numerous articles, stories and audio pieces, and my debut essay collection, Seaglass, was published by Calon Books in May 2024. With a background in publishing and literature programming, I’m now a Co-founder and Editorial Director of Folding Rock Magazine. I also host and produce the This Place podcast, alongside my monthly Substack publication, Dwell. My work has featured in The GuardianThe ScotsmanNation.Cymru and Simple Things, among others, and I speak regularly at events.

I have a 1st Class English degree from Durham University and a Creative Writing Masters (with Distinction) from the University of Manchester. I’ve spent lots of time in the north of England, including as Programme Producer for New Writing North and Festival Manager of Durham Book Festival, and am now settled happily between North Yorkshire and the Vale of Glamorgan. I am a board member for York Creatives, specialising in writing and publishing.

I’m always open to collaborations and new projects – find out more about working with me here.
