[This is the part where I toot my trumpet.]

I have varied experience in freelance writing, podcasting and independent publishing. I began my career in the Welsh publishing scene (English-language), working from intern to associate to editor, and specialising in digital marketing, events and audio along the way. I now work for New Writing North as the newly-appointed Digital Production Manager.

I hold a BA in English Literature from Durham University (with 1st Class Honours), and an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Manchester (with a Distinguished Achievement Medal). While in Manchester I also managed The Manchester Anthology, and founded The Podcast for New Writing.

In 2021 I was awarded a Printing Charity Rising Star bursary, and named a Bookseller Rising Star in Publishing. I also hosted a number of online events, helped to launch Cyhoeddi Cymru/Publishing Wales, and spoke on an SYP panel about the landscape of publishing in Wales.

As a writer, I have written essays, articles, short stories and audio pieces, and have been published and shortlisted in various places. I’m currently working on a non-fiction essay collection commission, and am querying a completed novel manuscript.
