I’m a writer, editor and creative producer from the south coast of Wales. I’ve published numerous articles, stories and audio pieces, and my debut essay collection, Seaglass, was published by Calon Books in May 2024. I’m the creator of This Place podcast, alongside my monthly Substack publication, Dwell. My work has featured in The Guardian, The Scotsman, Nation.Cymru and Simple Things, among others, and I speak regularly at events. With a background in publishing and literature programming, I’m now the Co-Founder and Non-fiction and Managing Editor of Folding Rock Magazine.

I have a 1st Class English degree from Durham University and a Creative Writing Masters (with Distinction) from the University of Manchester. I’ve spent lots of time in the north of England, including as Programme Producer for New Writing North and Festival Manager of Durham Book Festival, and am now settled happily in North Yorkshire (though you’ll also regularly find me back in Barry, South Wales!). I am a board member for York Creatives, specialising in writing and publishing, and a volunteer gardener at my local National Trust. I love cooking, swimming and being outside.
I’m always open to collaborations and new projects – find out more about working with me here.
