Fiction Writing:

My print publications include fiction appearances in Cheval 13 (Terry Hetherington Award Anthology 2020), Heartland (PENfro Prize anthology 2019), and MANY: The 2020 Manchester Anthology.

I also have a story published with Porridge Magazine, Foxglove, which quickly became on of their most popular pieces, and featured in their #InternationlWomensDay 8 Posts by Inspiring Women.

Articles and Reviews:

I have written a number of reviews and pieces for Wales Arts Review, including two of their Best Reviews of 2019.

I have also reviewed books for The Manchester Review, Gwales, The F Word Magazine – and Ed Fringe Review, where I was also Editor in 2018.

In 2020 I created The Podcast for New Writing – a series of discussions with students and authors at Manchester’s Centre for New Writing. Having pitched the project to the Centre I was then commissioned to produce and present the series, which received excellent response.

I’m currently developing plans for a literary translation-focused podcast with Parthian Books, due to be release in summer/autumn 2021.

As an Editor at Parthian Books, I specialise in managing anthologies into print, most notably the recent Just So You Know anthology. I also recently managed the publication of Ward Nine: Coronavirus – a covid patient’s story of survival which I took on last-minute, and, owing to it’s important message, turned around at record speed of 5 weeks from submission to print.

As Parthian is a small press, my responsibilities also include publicity and marketing for books, as well as managing all social media. During this year, I have also taken on a larger events role, adapting our launching process to the Pandemic and holding all book events online.

As Publishing Manager for this year’s Manchester Anthology, alongside organising the production of the book to new and more professional specification, I also ran the digital launch.
